Getting Married Abroad

Many couples are choosing to get married outside of the United States of America. It’s a wonderful choice and destination weddings are a great way to celebrate your special day. In order to do this, couples will be asked to provide apostilles for important documents from the country of destination. They can include but are not limited to Single Status Affidavit forms, copies of ID’s, residence verification documents etc. Depending upon the type of document/s required will determine the appropriate government office in the United States that will provide the apostille as well as the turnaround time to obtain the apostilles. We encourage couples to get the specific list of documents required and not to wait until the last minute to begin the process. Apostilles can either be shipped directly to the Country of Destination or to an address within the United States.
